Chasing Rabbits, Grenache 2022

According to winemaker Corlea Fourie, Chasing Rabbits captures the fine tension and clarity of young Grenache fruit. Produced in Wellington, South Africa, the grapes come from a certified organic vineyard called Gesamelike Wei, which means communal pasture – the site was originally used for grazing by nomadic trek farmers. Grenache 2022 is made from 100% organically farmed Grenache Noir. Brilliant ruby in the glass, the wine has notes of delicate violet, raspberry, and plum on the nose, with hints of dried herbs. It's light through the palate with juicy red fruit and a lively finish. Very food-friendly, this is the chilled red of your picnic or BBQ dreams!
